2000 Beneteau 36CC - only 236 hours

Hunter 40 waiting for you at the dock ......   This boat only has 266 hours on the original engine.  She has been on Fresh Water since new. Always kept between Chicago and Kenosha..  She has a brand new furling mainsail, as well as very lightly used roller furling main and genoa and an electric windlass

She is in excellent condition. A must see. Be the first to call. She will not last long. The current owner has taken excellent care of her with lots of upgrades.

The bottom is clean and ready for a new coat of VC17. Not much to do before putting her in the water....   She is in excellent condition.  A must see.  Be the first to call.  She will not last long.

A great cruising layout with two private staterooms, a wonderful galley and a walk through head.

The master stateroom is aft with a large queen bed in the starboard aft corner with a settee curving around to the port side. The berth is fitted with a great mattress. There are two large hanging lockers and lots of other storage for the necessities of life. There is private access to the head with shower, shower sump and great ventilation. There are a couple of opening hatches and several opening ports in the aft cabin for light and ventilation. All ports and hatches have screens and privacy shields. There is storage on both sides of the cabin, with a huge storage area under the berth itself. The forward bulkhead features a vanity with mirror and access to the rear of the engine compartment.

As you move forward, the aft head is to starboard of the companionway and the walk through galley is to port.

The walk through galley features a huge icebox with refrigeration with freezer along the outside edge, with a double sink and gimbaled propane stove with oven. The first owner never used the stove. There is lots of storage in the built-in cabinets behind the counter along the whole length of the galley. The other side of the galley features a huge counter space for working, with a ton of additional storage built-in along the whole length.

The engine compartment forms the base of the companionway. It is easily accessible from both the front and the back. The companionway stairs lift and have a built-in support for ease of access. The lower step is also removable for complete access. The batteries are mounted just inside the forward end of the engine compartment base. This arrangement makes routine maintenance and inspection a breeze. There is plenty of additional room in the engine compartment for additional accessories. The engine compartment even has room inside to sit, and work or inspect.

To starboard of the companionway is the walk through head. With private access from the master stateroom and guest access from the salon. With opening ports and an opening hatch (with privacy screens ....), it is a very comfortable and functional space. She has a shower, shower sump, sink with vanity and mirror and plenty of storage. There is a fold down seat over the head for sit down showers.  Very nice.

Next forward to starboard is the forward facing nav station with plenty of space for all the electronics.  There is also a multi-function repeater display for wind, speed and depth. The nav area also functions as the electrical control center for the boat with the breaker panels for the AC and DC systems. All battery switches  are all within reach. This location at the base of the companionway makes it most accessible from the cockpit.  A sliding bench seat fits under the nav station when not in use, and slides aft when desired.

The gracious main salon features a gently curved settee to port and a settee to starboard with a double drop-leaf table on the centerline. There is a teak cabin sole, which along with the rich interior woodwork, gives the the cabin an open yet traditional feeling. There are numerous opening hatches, several large opening ports (all with screens) for lots of light and ventilation. On this boat, the dinette is fitted with a custom folding support system, which allows the port berth to be made into a larger berth for those occasional guests.

The forward stateroom is a generous vee berth, again with a custom mattress. Both sides of the berth are lined with shelves for your books, your glasses and all your little comfort needs. There are two hanging lockers (one on each side) and plenty of room for dressing in private. An opening "window" with a folding wood screen has been designed in the bulkhead between the stateroom and the salon, so that when privacy is not desired, it can be opened giving the whole interior an open feeling and increasing ventilation even more. There is also a large overhead hatch with a privacy curtain for when you want to sleep in.
