1983 O'Day 34

Hunter 40 waiting for you at the dock ......   You will be amazed as soon as you see this boat.  The current owners bought this boat 15 years ago, and have done an incredible  job upgrading, maintaining and fixing up the whole boat.  She is beautiful and in impressive condition.

The original gel coat shines, and the bottom is in"perfect" condition.  They buff and wax the hull every year, right before she is stored,O'Day 34 salon and you can tell the difference.

The exterior (and interior) wood is all in beautiful condition, and is nicely finished.

When the current owners bought her, the surveyor found areas of moisture intrusion on the deck and cabin top.  The boat was nice, but had not really been upgraded. These owners were (and are) uniquely qualified to take on her restoration and upgrade her, and that is what they have done.    Everything was done with the highest quality of materials and with knowledge and research.   It was all beautifully done.

As you enter the cockpit, the first thing that you will notice is the Faux teak inlays on the seats and the cockpit sole. This wonderful material gives you great traction and requires no maintenance.

The cockpit is beautiful and comfortable.  It has the preferred T-shape, with room at the back for the helmsperson and the upgraded larger wheel.   The B&G color plotter, and instruments are mounted at the helm, and the NEW Boat Tailors bimini give great protection and incredible visibility.

As you go below, the U-shaped galley is off to port.  It features a gimballed 2 burner stove, double S.S. sinks with hot and cold pressure water, large icebox  and plenty of storage.  Lots of cabinets, and drawers for all your galley needs.

Next forward is the salon.  She has a centerline folding dinette table, with two folding leaves that can extend across the cabin for dining.   All of the cushions are new, with new foam and all new upholstery.  The salon is light and very comfortable, with 2 generous settees on both sides of the cabin.

Next forward and to port is the fully enclosed head.  The head has a manual toilet with holding tank, sink and shower with hot and cold water,Oday34 salon looking aft lots of light and ventilation.  It features 2 doors, giving you private access to the head from the forward stateroom, and allowing your guests private access from the salon.

The forward part of the interior is the vee berth.  There is an overhead hatch and ports for light and ventilation.  The berth has a removable filler cushion allow flexible configurations.  There is room inside the stateroom (even with the filler cushion in place to stand and dress, etc.  On the port side just aft of the berthis a hanging locker, and to starboard are more drawers for storage.

Aft of the salon on the starboard side is the nav station.  It includes a large storage lock just forward of it, and is aft facing, right at the base of the companionway.
