   A true classic, this Carl Alberg design is easily handled by one person in any conditon.  The full keel with attached rudder makes this solid yacht track like a dream. Cape Dory's famous quality shows in the beautiful craftsmanship, the oversized fittings, the opening bronze portholes and the hand laid fiberglass hull.

The vee berth forward has an overhead hatch and two opening ports for light and ventilation.  Next aft is the athwartships head with the head to port and the sink and storage to starboard.  There are privacy doors between both the vee berth and the salon.  The salon has both port and starboard settees, where the backs of the settee fold up to become additional berths.  There is a fold down dining table and storage behind and below the berths.  She has a Force 10 diesel cabin heater to keep her comfortable in any climate, any time of the year.

The galley wraps around under the companionway with the 2-burner propane stove to port and the icebox with refrigeration to starboard.  The roomy cockpit has two huge lazerettes for tons of storage.  There is an ondeck storage for the double propane tanks, allowing even more storage below.  She has hot and cold pressure water system, manual water system and ample storage.

Deck and Hull
White fiberglass hull with Interlux epoxy on the bottom with new paint.  The exterior teak has all been just refinished by an owner who builds custom guitars for a living.  The bow sprit and platform as well as the S.S. wire standing rigging are all new in 1998.  She has an aluminum spar stepped on the keel.   New custom dodger and bimini with complete cockpit enclosure, a wonderful addition to any boat.  There are both a Danforth and CQR anchors with chain and rode, fender and dockline, lifejackets and lifering.   She has a swim ladder.  The bottom was completely taken down, and recoated with Awlgrip epoxy and VC-17 antifouling paint all in 1998.

Engine and Mechanical
IB Volvo 13hp diesel FWC diesel, with only 300 original hours, fuel filters, raw water sea strainer, 12V dual battery system, 110V shore power with cable, engine and stove fuel shut off valves, three blade prop.  Two battery system with the batteries new in 1998, automatic battery charger (new in 1998) , shore power with cable, 12V and 110V systems.  There are 3 bilge pumps, manual and automatic all new in 1998, a manual head (new in 1998) with holding tank, an extra prop
