1985 Newport 30 Mk III 

This well made cruiser is new to the market and is in great condition.  Built by Capital Yachts in California,  she has the trademark woodwork and stained glass windows in the interior cabinets. This fresh water only boat has a dodger, roller furling, wheel steering and a diesel engine.

The Newport has a beautiful traditional interior with great woodwork throughout. There are two brass oil lamps for warm traditional light as well as plenty of 12V ships lighting. The roomy vee berth is forward.  The head is next aft to port with storage and hanging lockers to starboard.  The salon has a dinette to port which makes into a double berth and a settee to starboard.  The galley is aft to port with a 3-burner gimbaled propane stove with oven, hot and cold pressure water system, manual water system and a large ice box.

To starboard is the quarterberth with a unique slide-out nav table over it.  The nav table with its own storage drawer slides out of way under the cockpit when not in use, yet provides convenient working area easily when needed.  There are velcro screen for everything.

 S.S. wire rigging with aluminum spar stepped on the deck. Main, 150 genoa, 110 genoa, gennaker with snuffer, lazy jacks, Harken roller furling, all halyards led aft to cockpit, manual backstay adjuster, boomvang, mainsheet traveler and 5 Lewmar winches.

Electronics
Raynav 580 loran, Uniden MC380 VHF radio, Bimini 25 channel VHF Radio, extra speaker for the VHF which can be used in the cockpit, 3 1/2" Ritchie binnacle compass at the helm, Windex, stereo and radar reflector.

Deck and Hull
White fiberglass hull with dark blue trim and canvas.  Dodger, cockpit awning, cockpit table and drink holder, Magma propane stainless steel grill with the optional stern mountable table, horse life ring, Cozy Covers on lifelines, bow and stern pulpit with double lifelines, boarding gates, 2 Danforth anchors with rode, nav lights, search light, swim ladder, fenders and lines, Lifesling, steel cradle, 6 lifejackets, spreader lights, VC 17 bottom paint..

IB 25hp Universal diesel, fuel filters, 30 gal. fuel tank, 12V dual battery system, 110V shore power with cable, engine and stove fuel shut off valves, emergency tiller, Edson wheel steering, automatic and large manual bilge pumps, manual holding tank head.
